Restructuring Army Companies to be listed on EGX

Egypt’s Prime Minister “Mostafa Madbouly” has indicated, during an interview with BBC Arabic, on Sunday evening, that some of the public sector and Armed Forces’ companies are being restructured to become ready for listing on the Egyptian Exchange.

Madbouly has highlighted Egyptian President “Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s” earlier remarks regarding plans to list the companies belonging to the Egyptian Armed Forces or the government on the stock exchange and enabling partnerships with the private sector in all national projects.

This is the same as the companies in the business sector and the government-affiliated companies that were launched such as “E-Finance,” which was wholly owned by the state, and 25% of it was listed.
